THE SEVEN RESURRECTIONS OF THE BIBLE----(1 Corinthians 15:1-4)
The doctrine of the resurrection is so very important!! Why? (1 Corinthians 15:13-14).
Resurrection- A raising from the dead.
The Resurrection is spoken of as one event in ( John 5:25, 11:23-26) and as two events in
(Acts 24:14-15) and (Revelation 20:4-13)
There are 2 stages to the resurrection.
⦁ Resurrection of the quick (alive) (2 Timothy 4:1) (Look at Ephesians 2:1)
⦁ Resurrection of life (John 5:28-29)
⦁ Resurrection of the just (Luke 14:14)
⦁ The first resurrection (Revelation 20:4-6)
⦁ Resurrection of damnation (John 5:29)
⦁ Resurrection of the dead (1 Peter 4:5)
⦁ Resurrection of the unjust (Acts 24:15)
⦁ Resurrection of the last day (John 11:24)
⦁ Time of the dead (Revelation 11:18)-- The saints here are Tribulation saints, those who were saved, by enduring to the end (Matthew 24:14)- , by not taking the mark of the beast, keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Christ. (Revelation 13:9-10, 14:11-12)
There are a total of 7 resurrections that take place in these two stages.
