In our past lessons of the 7 judgments, we studied (1) judgment of sin at Calvary; (2) daily self judgment (3) judgment seat of Christ (4) judgment of Israel and now, (5) judgment of the nations. For these verses, there is a very common teaching that is accepted by many denominations, especially Catholics. It is as follows. 1. The King is Christ 2. the sheep are the saved people, by doing good works. 3. The goats are unsaved for doing bad works 4. the brethren are any person, anywhere, anytime, in any age to whom good works is ministered to. 5. The issue of good works is this: “How you treated your fellow man” (Golden rule).
No matter who we are, or who we think we are, no matter our social status, one day, all of us will face judgment someday. So, I will ask you, which one will you face? The judgment seat of Christ or the great white throne judgment? (Hebrews 9:27) says, “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment”. (Romans 14:11-12) This judgment is for the saved. The unsaved will not face this judgment.
